Acquisition funding to purchase three freeholds care homes in Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Nash & Co Capital Ltd has arranged finance of £10,500,000 for Constantia Healthcare Investments (No 2) Ltd to fund the purchase of three freeholds care homes. St John’s House (35 beds) and The Millings (36 beds) are located in Yorkshire and are rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC. The third home, Lilibet Manor (46 beds), is being acquired from the sister company, Constantia Healthcare Group Ltd, which is controlled by management.  Lilibet Manor is located in Rossendale, Lancashire and is rated ‘Good’ by the CQC.  The total number of registered beds is 117.

Care homes continue to play an important role in the care of the elderly and vulnerable.  As at December 2022 there were approximately 480,072 registered beds in the UK spread across 12,034 (residential and nursing) care homes (source: Knight Frank).  Demand, driven by an ageing population and reduced state provision of residential and nursing care, continues to grow with an additional 24,000 places required over the next 5 years (source: LaingBuisson).
